Speaking outside the San Francisco Federal Reserve earlier today, independent candidate for vice president, Matt Gonzalez, stated his opposition to a congressional corporate bailout.
“Let the market correct itself,” Gonzalez said.

Landa’s Prison Sentence Extended

Stephanie Landa, 61, was sentenced January 4, 2007 to 41 months in jail
for cultivating medical marijuana. Her sentence has been extended to June 9, 2009
by the  Federal Bureau of Prisons after she tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
