FCJ, Thank you so much for posting this.
I was right there in the middle of that. The force employed by the police that I witnessed wasn’t merely excessive. It was utterly unnecessary and indiscriminate. The protest was peaceful until the police suddenly started running in formation, singling out random people and hitting them with baton and knocking them to the ground.
This incident must be investigated.
