Someone told me this morning that they thought that Bevan Dufty was the ‘sleeper’ in this race. I told them that I hoped he got a pre-nup from his johns cause they’ll be with Ed Lee by the 4th of July. Same with David Chiu who’s about to have a team of political forensic pathologists going through his digestive tract to see just what he’s been feeding on for the last decade.

Same for Leland Yee whose one great ability is to raise money and hide its source in piles of litter. Ed Jew has a better chance of being elected Mayor than Phil Ting does and Dennis Herrera has more arrows in him than General Custer. Face it, unless Chicken John declares again, this is as exciting as this field is gonna get.

But, there’s always Bat Man and Robin. Gonzalez and Adachi is what I meant to say. Try and wrap your mind around a mid-January 2012 with Adachi as Mayor and Gonzalez as D.A. and Mirkarimi as Sheriff and an Adachi appointee as Public Defender which, if I’m not mistaken, would give real Progressives a majority on the Ethics Commission and have Jim Sutton warming his hands over a burning 55-gallon barrel at Jones and McAllister and sleeping in a cardboard box backed up against the Hibernia Bank.

Will 'Batman and Robin' run to save Fog City?

A guy can dream.

Bumgarner and the Giants in 30 minutes.

From one old Navy veteran to another?

Happy Memorial Day.

One closing and soothing tune:

It’s about being, ‘way up high’ huh?

Will someone in the ‘City Family’ get the Health Department to stop trying to destroy the local Medicinal Pot community? This ‘War on Fun’ shit has destroyed Halloween in the Castro, the Exotic Erotic Ball, Bay to Breakers, and any number of other parades and neighborhood events. Does Rajiv Batik also get to force us back to buying bad weed from MS-13 in the Mission again?

Go Giants!
