    Since announcing our intention to purchase The Buck, I have been excited to see additional segments of our progressive community drop in. This Fall, Drinking Liberally and several other informal progressive circles have found a home at Buck Tavern, and I am committed to continuing to foster these discussions as well as many others. In addition, our public house will be committed to supporting the grassroots efforts for social and economic justice that I have been associated with in this town for nearly 2 decades.

The City previously received permission from Fox Sports Broadcasting to show the potential clinching away game.

    Set against a backdrop of dozens of green and yellow ‘No on L’ signs on the corner of Mission and 16th streets, Talen and the Life After Shopping Gospel Choir sang a rendition of the First Amendment before Talen began a short sermon denouncing what he called fundamentalism and a paranoia of fear.

    Of the leading progressive candidates in the ranked choice race, a list that includes Keys, Kim, Jim Meko and Debra Walker, Walker is so far the only candidate to not endorse a fellow progressive candidate. She was the only D6 candidate to receive the powerful San Francisco Democratic Party endorsement.

TNIP uses spoken word, art, music, inspirational speakers and theater performances to inspire community to create positive action. This is a community-minded program that models forgiveness, gratitude and responsibility as an effective method to stop violence. Proceeds to benefit Create Social Change, Challenge Day, and Camp Choice.
