    Police Seek Assistance in Homicide Investigation

    On April 2, 2012 at 10:30 PM, Lawrence Richardson was leaving a corner grocery store at Divisadero and Eddy Street when he was shot multiple times by several assailants. Lawrence was only 21 at the time of his death. He is survived by his father, mother, many close friends and relatives and a 1year old baby girl.

    Suspended Sheriff Requests Postponement of “Highly Charged” Board Vote

    Citing due process protections afforded by the U.S. Constitution, attorneys representing suspended Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi today filed a brief with the San Francisco Ethics Commission requesting the quasi-judicial body to postpone its submission of its findings of fact to the Board of Supervisors, the eleven-member legislative body that will decide if Mirkarimi will be reinstated or be permanently removed from office.
