Arnold Schwarzenegger any less embarrassing.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><!--more--> Years from now I&#8217;ll be asked where I was at the exact moment I found out New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, client #9, was caught soliciting prostitutes. Maybe by then I&#8217;ll remember.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fogcityjournal.com\/images\/photos\/crackberry_080314\/spitzer_std.jpg\" height=\"268\" width=\"400\" \/><br \/>\nSen. Charles Schumer and New York Gov. His alleged escort &#8220;Kristen,&#8221; aka 22-year-old aspiring singer Ashley Alexandra Dupre, has become quite the internet celebrity.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>New York Times<\/em> discovered Dupre&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/03\/13\/nyregion\/12cnd-kristen.html\">MySpace<\/a> profile. She also has a Facebook profile, and there are several fake Facebook profiles with her name and likeness. There&#8217;s even a <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20131113234626\/http:\/\/ashleyalexandradupre.tumblr.com\/\">fake Tumblr <\/a>dedicated to her.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fogcityjournal.com\/images\/photos\/crackberry_080314\/little%20brazil_std.jpg\" height=\"355\" width=\"500\" \/><br \/>\nAshley Alexandra Dupre (center).<br \/>\n<strong>Photo via MySpace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The glare of the spotlight apparently became too much for Dupre who fled her New York apartment this morning. But I have a feeling that won&#8217;t be the last we&#8217;ve seen of her.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The lesson here, kittens: set your Myspace profiles to &#8220;private.&#8221; (Even though this doesn&#8217;t actually protect you.) Or just don&#8217;t have a Facebook profile at all, as it takes quite a bit of effort to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/02\/18\/business\/18facebook.html\">erase one<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">And for SF politicos, don&#8217;t get caught with your pants down with any hookers. <em>Duh<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I guess this is the point in the column where I find some sort of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fogcityjournal.com\/news_in_brief\/kirshenbaum_070131.shtml\">local angle<\/a>. But that&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fogcityjournal.com\/news_in_brief\/kirshenbaum_070201.shtml\">not really necessary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>I&#8217;m talking about the race, but you want to talk about race<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fogcityjournal.com\/images\/photos\/crackberry_080314\/someecard_std.jpg\" height=\"237\" width=\"425\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Image via someecards.com <\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Everybody&#8217;s talking about black people. And for once Kanye West is not involved.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">First, Sen. Hillary Clinton fundraiser <a href=\"http:\/\/latimesblogs.latimes.com\/washington\/2008\/03\/the-fallen.html\">Geraldine Ferraro<\/a> started talking about Senator Barack Obama&#8217;s race. Then a YouTube of Obama&#8217;s pastor and spiritual advisor, retired <font color=\"#000000\">Rev.<\/font> Jeremiah Wright, began circulating which included a sermon about race.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This put the mainstream media in a bind: they don&#8217;t want to talk about race, but they don&#8217;t want to not talk about somebody else talking about race.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">It&#8217;s all very complicated.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">As a mixed race person, only a certain percentage of me can speak on this topic.
