San Francisco Planning Commissioner Christina Olague will be sworn in by Mayor Ed Lee as the next District 5 Supervisor at 10:00 am this morning, according to multiple sources.
Olague, who co-chaired the controversial “Run, Ed, Run” campaign, will serve out the remainder of Sheriff-elect and former Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi’s term on the Board of Supervisors.
Olague was appointed to the Planning Commission by former Board of Supervisors President Matt Gonzalez.

Olague is one of the Gang of Four, led by Ross Mirkarimi, who abandoned the Green Party when it became fashionable to be a Democrat again after party lefties took over the DCCC and Obama was elected president.
