Mayor Gavin Newsom announced tonight that San Francisco will host a ticker-tape parade and civic celebration in honor of the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
The first results will be released at approximately 8:45 p.m., and will only include votes from vote-by-mail ballots. Approximately one hour later, the second report will be released, which will include votes cast at the polling places. Subsequent reports will be released every half hour until approximately midnight.
