Another video has surfaced on YouTube from “RunRosePakRun,” this time parodying a satirical conversation between interim Mayor Ed Lee and Chinatown powerbroker Rose Pak.
Warning, the video is laced with profanity. You have been warned.
“Rose, how many times do I need to tell you that I do not want to run for Mayor,” Lee asks Pak.
“You’re running,” Pak responds. “You don’t have a choice. I’m mother-fucking Rose Pak!”
Lee responds, “The only reason I am mayor now is because I promised to be a caretaker mayor and not run for a full-term.”
“Fuck promises,” Pak responds. “You’re running.”
“But if I run, I will break the trust that I have with City residents and the elected officials who voted for me because I promised I would be a caretaker mayor,” Lee responds.
“Fuck the public trust,” Pak responds.
“But I have said over and over again that the public trust is important to me. It’s why I have been effective this year. It’s why I have been able to work cooperatively with elected officials. This will all change if I run for office. People won’t trust me anymore.”
“Fuck everyone else,” Pak responds. “Fuck this City! Fuck me!”
“And if I don’t run?” Lee responds.
“Get over your fucking self,” Pak responds. “This is about Willie Brown and me. Fuck keeping your word and your fucking promises. This is about me and using you to advance my fucking agenda – and my agenda is me.”
Later in the video, Pak says, “I have access to hundreds of thousand of money to buy this election for me.”
“But I don’t want to run,” Lee responds. “I don’t want to break my promises.”
“It’s not about fucking promises,” Pak responds. “Willie Brown and I have big plans for us. Your’re running. You don’t have a choice.”
