Police Seek Assistance in Homicide Investigation

Police are seeking the public’s help in solving the murder of Lawrence Richardson, 21, who was slain by several assailants on April 2 while leaving a grocery store on the corner of Eddy and Divisadero streets. Photo courtesy SFPD.

On April 2, 2012 at 10:30 PM, Lawrence Richardson was leaving a corner grocery store at Divisadero and Eddy Street when he was shot multiple times by several assailants. Lawrence was only 21 at the time of his death. He is survived by his father, mother, many close friends and relatives and a 1year old baby girl.

This crime took place along a busy thoroughfare, in a thriving neighborhood. Homicide investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has knowledge that will assist in the identification of the persons responsible for the murder of Lawrence Richardson.
