Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Nabbing Chinatown Robbery/Assault Suspects

San Francisco Police seek the public’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted for a robbery, kidnapping, burglary, aggravated assault case.

On September 17, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., a group of suspects chased a victim on the 800 block of Clay Street. The victim attempted to hide in a nearby business but was located by the suspects. The suspects carried the victim out to the street and severely beat him for several minutes until he lost consciousness. The victim’s personal belongings were taken from him in the process.

The victim awoke several minutes later and walked in to a nearby business in an attempt to call 911. At this point, the suspects came back and again attacked the victim, stealing his phone in the process. The suspects were last seen driving off in the victim’s car.

Two suspects have been taken into custody in this case by the San Francisco Police Department’s Gang Task Force Unit. The two outstanding suspects have been identified as: Solomon Soohoo, 31 years old, 6’, medium build, and Curtis Leong, 20 years old, 5’ 7” tall, medium build. Both suspects may be in San Francisco or in the East Bay.
