America should lead the world? Since when? The Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Central American Wars, the first Afghanistan War, in which we seem to have created Al-Qaeda and the Taliban? Or, since the ongoing Afghanistan and Iraq Wars?
Or, since we built what is now the most lethal nuclear arsenal in American history?
