A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in San Francisco's Mission Terrace district early today, San Francisco police Sgt. Neville Gittens said.

At about 3:38 a.m. police responded to the 400 block of Persia Avenue and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, a San Francisco resident, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died, Gittens said.

The suspects, who remain at large, were described only as two Hispanic males. The motive for the shooting was still unknown, Gittens said.
