Woman fatally struck by Muni bus identified

A woman fatally struck by a San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency bus Tuesday night is being identified today as 83-year-old Marina Vifiadis, according to the San Francisco medical examiner's office.

Vifiadis, a San Francisco resident, was hit around 10:08 p.m. on Park Presidio Boulevard at the intersection with Balboa Avenue, San Francisco police Sgt. V. Bruce said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
