PERSON KILLED ON CALTRAIN TRACKS NEAR MENLO PARK

Caltrain service suspended in both directions

Caltrain service has been suspended entirely following a fatality involving a train on the Peninsula this morning, according to Caltrain spokesman Jonah Weinberg.

Weinberg said a person was hit by a train some time around 7:45 a.m. near Menlo Park.

Caltrain, Amtrak and local police will be at the scene, according
to Weinberg.
