San Francisco MUNI to offer free service Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - The San Francisco Municipal Railway will be offering free transportation Tuesday in honor of the centennial commemoration of the 1906 earthquake and fire.

Free service on all lines will begin at 3 a.m. on Tuesday and continue until 3 a.m. on Wednesday.

Large crowds are expected along Market Street and in the downtown and Embarcadero areas all day, beginning with a 4:30 a.m. ceremony at Lotta's Fountain on Market Street.
