SAN RAFAEL (BCN) - The San Rafael Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a 19-year-old San Rafael man who was last seen by his father on Dec. 5, 2005, the Police Department reported Tuesday. Joshua Jucker attended an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on Lincoln Avenue in San Rafael on Dec. 5, 2005, but did not return home afterward.

Jucker has not been in contact with friends or family since that night, the Police Department reported.

Police said that a few people have come forward stating that they may have seen Jucker.

A man who was tentatively identified as Jucker was seen at Northgate Mall in Terra Linda sometime in December.

A Golden Gate Transit bus driver spoke with a passenger on Jan. 11 who may have been Jucker. The passenger boarded a southbound bus at the San Rafael Transit Center at approximately 7:15 p.m., and the man asked the driver to drop him off at the Golden Gate Bridge. The passenger got off the bus when it stopped in Marin City, according to police.

The man appeared to be very emotional and the bus driver worried that he might be suicidal, police reported.

Jucker is described as a white man, standing 5 feet 10 inches, and weighing 170 pounds. Jucker has green eyes, brown hair, and a small scar near his right hairline.

The passenger spotted by the bus driver on Jan. 11 was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a Corona beer logo on the back, police reported.

Jucker takes medication for a disorder but did not have the medication with him when he disappeared, police reported.

Anyone with information on Joshua Jucker is asked to call the San Rafael Police Department at (415) 485-3000. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (415) 472-2746.
