Imprisoned journalist Josh Wolf may be freed from federal prison later today.

Wolf was ordered jailed August 1, 2006 by Judge Williamp Alsup for refusing to turn over videotape of a San Francisco G-8 demonstration turned melee in 2005 to a federal grand jury.

Details surrounding Wolf's release cannot be confirmed at this time, but a visit to Wolf's blog hints at Wolf reaching a deal over unreleased and, heretofore, unpublished segments of Wolf's videotape.
