One dead in Sunday morning double shooting

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting early this morning that claimed the life of one person and injured another, a San Francisco Police Department police operations officer reported.

According to the officer, the shooting took place at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of San Bruno Avenue and Burrows Street in San Francisco.

Police arrived to find one person dead and another with minor injuries, the officer said.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner's office identified the fatality as 18-year-old Maurice Love of Oakland.
