Victim in stable condition
after Golden Gate Park shooting

A male victim has been listed in stable condition at a San Francisco hospital after being shot Monday night in Golden Gate Park, police said.

Reports of gunshots brought officers to the area of 25th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 11:11 p.m. Responding officers located a male victim suffering at least one gunshot wound.

Authorities searched the park for the gunman, but the suspect remains at large, police said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and has been listed in stable condition, according to police.

No other information was immediately available.
