A third fatal shooting in Oakland within 12 hours has brought the total number of homicides in the city this year to 125, a police officer said today.

The most recent shooting took place in the 8600 block of International Boulevard, police reported. When police and paramedics arrived at the scene at 11:50 a.m. they found a man dead from gunshot wounds.

A second shooting was reported at 1:48 a.m. this morning and brought officers to the intersection of 14th and Webster streets. Police confirmed that one person was killed in the shooting but no other information was immediately available.

Police are also investigating a shooting that was reported at 11:12 p.m. Saturday. Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Seventh Street where they located two male gunshot victims.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to an area hospital where he is in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made in any of the shootings and no suspect information was immediately available.
