By Laura Dudnick

October 21, 2007

Two victims of an apparent shooting in San Francisco walked into a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds this morning, according to officials.

The victims went to Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center just before 5:30 a.m., officials said.

The victims were then informed that the hospital does not perform triage, and ambulances were called to transfer the patients to San Francisco General Hospital, according to officials.

The extent of injuries is unknown, although fire officials confirmed both victims were suffering from gunshot wounds.
