On Tuesday, September 18, Joe Alioto Veronese's campaign for California State Senate, District 3 will officially kick-off with a district-wide tour. Supporters and press can board the "Alioto Veronese Express," a special biodiesel bus, to attend a series of rallies in every County of the district.

Alioto Veronese commented, "My campaign is about innovative solutions - like biodiesel and other alternative fuels that show commitment to a cleaner environment - and real results for every family in this district. We're kicking off a grassroots campaign for serious change that gives California families a well-deserved break from negative politics and unaccountable leaders."

The campaign is building on recent momentum. Last week, the Democratic fund-raising web community ActBlue declared Alioto Veronese's campaign the winner among the 3 Senate candidates for attracting more donors than his incumbent, career-politician opponents. The Alioto Veronese campaign placed in the top 10 in America for online donations raised in the month of August.

Following is a schedule of events that are free and open to the public.

8:00 am, Italian Athletic Club, 1630 Stockton Street, San Francisco

10:00 am, Community Rally, Corner of West Point and Middle Point, San Francisco

1:00 pm, Marin County Rally, City Plaza, San Rafael

3:00 pm, Sonoma County Rally, Turning Basin, Petaluma

Joe Alioto Veronese currently serves as San Francisco Police Commissioner, Civil Rights Attorney in the Law Office of Mayor Joseph Alioto and Angela Alioto, and small business owner in the wine industry in Sonoma County. He is a Democratic candidate for California State Senate District 3, including San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma Counties.
